In the Ted talk “Embrace the shake”, the speaker Phil Hansen recounted his personal experience in the creative field. Firstly, Phil’s illness crashed his school life, as an art student, his hands are shaking constantly because of illness. He gave up in a few years, then a psychiatrist gave him new hope, “Well, why don’t you just embrace the shake?” After the encouragement by his psychiatrist, the involuntary shaking of his hands is no longer his weakness. He tries to turn his flaws into the characteristics of his work. Phil continuously challenged himself and achieved success. Phil learned from the disease how to continuously breakthrough himself by breakthrough the limitations. Even though people feel struggling when they have to face limitations, we also learned from these experiences.
